i feel so far
away from her
i want to push
her even further
get the fuck
away from me
( i need you )
i don’t need you
🚫
emotionally
my attitude
makes me feel
like a child
i’m angry and
i don’t want to
facilitate self
improvement
stubborn
i don’t need you
( i need you )
crying out for help
i’m silent
i don’t want to
participate in
my own healing
responsibility
accountability
it’s all a foreign
language to me
and I’m
failing miserably
drowning in
self pity

It's so hard...Communication is so hard to
engage in. And it's when I have the most need for it, weather because I'm at the low
point and I'm dying for another's voice of
reason/love/comfort/hope/warmth/care or
because I'm at a high point and I feel so
good I'm just dying to share it with another,
or even just friendship, that's when I'm least
likely to find the ways to overcome the fear
or inertias preventing me from reaching out
to the people that can help me know more
Joy/Love/Happiness/Self

So hard yet so vital, the walls we once used for survival can encapsulate us long after the need for protection, turning self preservation into isolation. I pray your path becomes easier to communicate, the human connection is such a primal necessity. All the love, my friend 💝

Potent expression.
I like the pointed defiance
and self awareness.

The bewildered yet defiant child in me needed to be heard, as she was never nurtured when was needed. Thank you, I’ve been told self awareness is a strong suit. I had to listen to and honor this component of opposition in me, so I could move through it.
