One day
One day, I’ll live in a world, that is free from pain
but for now, I have to deal with all the trauma that’s around me
Live with all the scars that ravage my mind, body and soul
Even as my body withers away with the ravages of time
I’ll one day live in a world, where I am at peace with myself
Make peace with all the things I have said and done
Come to terms with who I am, what I am and where I am
Come full circle knowing that life goes on, even when everything is said and done
Knowing that I can be much happier when I am at peace
When I know I can be me and be so much more
But right, I am just living it and trying to make it
And just trying to make it to the next one

Sometimes all we can do is take one step at a time and hope it gets better. Never loose faith in the one day. I really like the simple honesty of the poem.
