Kilimanjaro Angel

Desire, strong and impulsive
Cross boundaries
Cross borders
Cross continents
To love unconditionally
To help, to heal to cure
How deep is your love
How big is your heart
To leave your native Kingdom
To fly your native green n gold
Under the shadow of Kilimanjaro
To leave your Mama
To become a beloved Mama
To thousands without their own
To love, to inspire, to teach
They're are Angels who
Walk among us
And sure as night follows day
One has left the Vale of Tralee
And is spreading the light
In a far far distant land

Author's Note
I wrote this after watching a documentary film "Kilimanjaro Mama",
This is about the miraculous work that's being done by a young woman in Kilimanjaro, who happens to come from a neighbouring town of mine.
I was blown away after watching this film.
It's truly inspiring
There's a lot of local references in this you might not pick up on, but I wrote it for this woman. She has read it
