cried so much
Tears of happiness of joy
Of love that being
A parent
Can bring
Have you
Ever in your life
Spent hours
Of unadulterated
Laughter
Tears filling buckets
Having nine one one
On speed dial
Heart ready to burst
Never having
Knowing such love
Just a look is all
It took
One look
Crazy right
I've always thought
Impossible
Until
Tonight
We filled those buckets
Didn't have enough
To hold
The love
We laughed
Till we could no more
It's inexplicable
Unexplainable
Unfathomable
What we shared
Tonight

I can't explain the the amount of happiness and love and laughter that filled my heart and home tonight.
Tonight was one of many I've felt only recently but tonight stood out alone.
Just had to get it down in words, but I'm not sure if they do justice or convey all the fun we had tonight

It was utterly amazing, truly, we have reconnected in a way I never thought possible.
That time apart ripped my heart out, there were days when all I wanted was for all the agony to end.
But this one evening made it all worthwhile.
