An Original Interpretation, Of Days, Of The Week!

Monday: moonday or,bare bottoms mooning day
Tuesday: tutu'sday, a day of dance, eating, and a roll in the hay
Wednesday: not if, but whensday, do put of until tomorrow, to get away
Thursday: thirstday, for those that couldn't enjoy fryday!
Friday: fryday, the most popular day, of quaffing mead, thence to sway
The one day, that was oft repeated, sometimes followed by,dare i say
up to 17 consecutive fridays, or frydaze!
Saturday: sat turd day, the day after, the day before, usually in may not May
Sunday: soonday, never used during winter months, when soonday went astray
These days didn't always follow in order, as shown
And weren't necessarily seven days, it was known
That some were to boring, got forgotten, delayed to another time
Others were repeated, resulting in this rhyme
Some extremes, from there being only three days in a week
Or as much as thirty days in one week, to tweak
This could vary, from hamlet, to hamlet, there was a case
Of a woman, obviously in her nineties, who'd enjoyed many frydays
And long, long weeks, so much so, she'd only just celebrated
Her twenty-first birthday, where she got really really dessicated!
