Our Buttery Thief
We have a dog
Who is be quite lovable
Big dumb and adorable
He is our walking trash can
Anything from fruit n veg
To empty toilet rolls
He's quite adamant
That they should be
Empty of all paper
As he prefers only cardboard
It's for the roughage you see
He's constantly reminding us
But he's also acquired a taste for butter
It's for the extra fat he proclaims
He's underweight for winterfall is here
He has taken robbery
To feed his buttery addiction
He gets fat
While we starve, no butter we have
It is quite often we see
Our four legged addict
Scoffing down the butter
He has purloined from our kitchen table
But then the waterworks start
The eyes grow humongous
The ears droop like Droopy
And this sorrowful look
That his face transforms to
How could he not be
Anything else but adorable
Who is be quite lovable
Big dumb and adorable
He is our walking trash can
Anything from fruit n veg
To empty toilet rolls
He's quite adamant
That they should be
Empty of all paper
As he prefers only cardboard
It's for the roughage you see
