A star's flame
Waited for you for

Author's Note
This was first inspired by my leather rose gold shoes. LOL (the avatar)
Then it went somewhere else. Just felt good to write something happy.
I was speaking with my older son and he used the phrase
"It is so metal".
Apparently that is the new word for cool.
I just had to use it.

Stretch marks are under-rated
I find beauty in them
Especially in hearts
You worked hard for them

Hello Mr. Trouble with a capital T!!!
What can I say. I am tiny (5' 1 and 1/2!!!)
No way around those scars.
I look at it like they are war scars. I survived.
From 100 lbs to 150. I bounced back to my original
size but not easy for me at all.
I wish it was one of those pregnancies where I was not sick
all the time. Borderline anemic.
But I survived it all and did it twice.
I am very proud of my survival in the whole thing.
Got scary for a minute. Both times.

Hahahah. My millennials always seem to surprise me when we have conversations and they throw out new lingo.
My youngest one told me once I had "bars".
I looked at him and asked what that was.
He said -it means you got bars mom.
