Black Sun

What worth my prose
the sum and total supposed
of a life soon foreclosed
an existence freely chose

Hating conformity
revolted by mediocrity
sickened by sanitized society
I renounce my humanity

Always seeking...
a new way of seeing
finding life through death
in an endless dance
of chaotic expanse

What coins are paid
spiritual wealth weighed
and guidance prayed
at the end of days

A black sun grown
as all our sins are known
the dead shall inherit the earth
in a time of renewal and mirth

All beginnings are built on bones
buried deep beneath these stones
of limits that bind our minds
for we are truly blind
