Well it's nearly Christmas I've got my letter for Santa written, I've been quite a good poet this year and there's only one gift by which I'm smitten

I hope Santa thinks I'm deserving, I hope to find it underneath my Christmas tree, wrapped in lace and a pretty tag, saying it's a gift for me

For there's just one thing I want, I'd say it's a aching need, so please, oh please dear Santa don't make me beg and plead

Let me get the special gift, please bring it in your sack, let Rudoloh guide you to my door, I'm sure he's right on track

I will unwrap it carefully, cuddle it everyday and night, love it forever and always treat it right

I know i sound quite desperate, I guess that's just how it seems but the only thing I want for Christmas is the girl who haunts my dreams

So please Santa bring her, may your Reindeer travel fast and swift, bring her from inside my dreams, please bring my perfect gift
