a beautiful moment
you sculptured me
your knife cutting at my side
pulling out the darkness
tearing me inside
you drew my lips
and tongued your way into my ear
bringing new found life
one that had disappeared
to avow
a willingness to openly share
the bleeding wounds
the scars
the fear
I grabbed upon your thorns
not caring getting cut
the blood a symbol
forever lain in trust
to taste, to tease
day breaks
gently the sun kisses your eyes
breezes push to the east
I lick the smile from your face
a soul sits in close contentment
breaths hesitate and release
your knife cutting at my side
pulling out the darkness
tearing me inside
you drew my lips
and tongued your way into my ear
bringing new found life
one that had disappeared
to avow
a willingness to openly share
the bleeding wounds
the scars
the fear
I grabbed upon your thorns
not caring getting cut
the blood a symbol
forever lain in trust
to taste, to tease
day breaks
gently the sun kisses your eyes
breezes push to the east
I lick the smile from your face
a soul sits in close contentment
breaths hesitate and release
