Adieu
Life goes on no time for despair
Forgive and forget
Pretend it’s not there
No time to mourn no time to fret
No time to care go on ahead
Force a smile just to disguise the fear
Pain became my relief used just to get by
A necessity just to stay alive.
Cope I did my own little way,
Knew nothing would ever change
Things always remain the same
Try to strive on
Such a tedious task to achieve.
Each day a constant struggle
Hope I cannot seem to perceive.\
Naïve and optimistic
Fell for the lies
The truth well disguised
So sorry I ever tried
So long. Auf Wiedersehen. goodbye
