Image for the poem Delilah

Delilah

taste me bittersweet
divine nature altered to suit the mortal
in the flesh a woman...simply
sweet ginger spice
and earthy naturalness

in the morn I rise to greet him
his concubine in secrecy
exhilarating passions stir when I hear his footfalls
quietly he approaches in control of his senses
a mortal man would go mad with jealousy
he keeps his mind I am but a flower in his garden
sensual beauty on display
his loving cup runneth over within me

his mistress fair I am a tempest
masochistic pleasures sees Sadistic tempers flair
when in chaotic greed
need his affections too vehemently

first Jezebel and then Delilah
hungered for his attention above the other
he would lament no woman

he is a man of the world
cut of the cloth
suiting many women
