    in a perfect world; when one first saw her face; could've known at first gaze; all the possibilities locked away from display    
   
    those earlier innocent church days; the crush that got away; because green wasn't just what laid in the "collection plate";    
   
  missed the move; never got straight since/sense the last time I saw you; then again we crossed paths, but far too late;    
   
  something more than lust; that young innocent crush; your eyes stared into one's soul back then-but I too far off to catch up;    
   
 her(as well as myself)searching for my worth; when I clearly saw yours; it's like I tripped down a flight of stairs; and fell hard to the floor;    
   
  in a perfect world; perhaps the stakes wouldn't be high; maybe my attention to you wouldn't be the only thing I could provide; people came up with this concept of low hanging fruit to the most high(fell/failed trying to reach her);    
   
  one often questioned if I ever had a chance in this temporary life....
