Strange to me
I wonder why.
Sometimes I read a poem
On this site,
Get to the bottom
And see that the poet
Does not want feedback.
I wonder why.
Ok, so I like positive feedbacks
Would not like negative ones
But why bother to write if you wish
For no feedback at all?

dear friend, the site... is 'also' about allowing people to have the option of just letting it out without having the need for explaining how's and whys of the expression.
to each their own... not everyone who publishes anything here is looking for a feedback, some just come here for an escape, to vent, let their feelings out and want to leave it at that.
Another point I would like to add would be the reason many of the souls here who call this place a home, are sensitive human beings for whatever reasons be it mental health, survivors of abuse and all, they just don't want any dramas where trolls ruin their last place of refuge by picking on whatever good or bad they have 'expressed'
I understand your viewpoint re finding it strange that poet's not preferring any feedback, but as said before not all can handle the feedback nor all want any dramas as well as not everyone is looking to improve on their skills...well their life their wish I'd say.

Very few times I've opted not to receive any comments or feedback. Either because it's very personal or just I want to share without the positive affirmation.
I always look forward to constructive criticism. We all have different styles and likes. Some of us aren't really worried about grammar or a mispelled word here and there, it just really depends on the individual. I do see a few folks who opt not to have any comments, if the poem is good I'll hit like, if it's really good, I'll add to my RL.
