Hell if I Know
By: Tara Rickman
Why is it that when I see you my heart aches?
I've never spoken to you nor do I even know your name.
It's as if I know you though we've yet to meet.
As if I know you will only hurt me if I give us a chance.
But all I can manage to muster up is a simple glance.
A glance in your direction in hopes you may see.
See me looking at you and maybe want us to be.
Why do I think of you every other minute... better yet, why do I think of you every other second?
The hell if I know why you are always on my mind.
The hell if I know why I long for you all the time.
You are so strange and so different.
Odds are the only reason I think that is because we haven't met yet.
Why the hell I desire you so much is a mystery to me.
However, at this moment I'm wondering if you think the same of me.
