Fly fly fly indeed....happiness that's another level maybe, although certainly worth the effort.
A lot of us are searching!
I may be wrong, but I believe butterflies don't live very long, and I sensed the urgency here to find that something as time is short.....

Our lives too are but a breath....

Hmmm.... very good point(s). Maybe that fleeting butterfly life span is a lesson, too. ... They do vary lifespans, depending mostly on their size and the climate they're in. Anywhere from two weeks, up to a year is possible. So, yes-fleeting, indeed.

You're correct, our own existence is but a heartbeat....- might as well be fearlessly multicolored (at times), aka = No longer willing to take anyone's bullshit and ready to take flight, in search of potential bliss....

Someone needs to create the best title awards because I want to nominate you, like ten times. I click with a quickness when I come across them lol. Your usage of onomatopoeia (I'll never spell this without help) lends a kind of visceral vitality to the write. You have an adroit comfort with utilizing the tools available to a writer that I admire.  Anything on the keyboard, brackets, italics, it's all there to flush out the dimensions of the write and bring across it's presence, which is more apt than to say it's message, when it comes to poetry. We feel poems, more than understand them, I think. I often as not write things that don't even make sense to me til I'm reading over the whole and the feel of the message takes shape. Your exhortation to fly strikes a chord to hope, to dare, it seems an apt metaphor. You're always so fresh, you don't box yourself into a single lane, so I always come to your writing with a resonant sense of curiosity.

hahaha... *giggles! 🤭 You have no idea how much I LOVE that comment about the titling award!! 🏆..Ohhh, HELL Yeah!... lol... It's just one of my idiosyncrasies.... I adore titling and I completely relish in finding the (in my mind) 'perfect title'  
It's one of my quirky little things that I absolutely love and kind of challenge myself to come up with. I thank you for thinking they're of notice and eye catching... That's freaking awesome, imo. A compliment unto itself and all it's own!! 👍🏻 Makes me smile wide, knowing they draw you in!! Thanks so much.  
 
I appreciate your thoughtful comments, Daniel. I always bask in them and your impressions. They leave me with an educated, original and some extremely interesting viewpoints that I'd probably might never of had, otherwise. I deeply appreciate that.  
 
It's sometimes scary to try new things and not commit to hammering one particular style, theme or imposed construct. I feel like It is easier in one lane and not access hard truths or be a participant, trying other types of poetry, some that I that I think I'll possibly even fail at. However, I know myself well enough to know that I'd get bored writing and reading the same kind of thing, formatted the same boring way, constantly over and over. So, I guess that's why I try new things. To see what fits, to learn something about myself and to broaden my skill set, as best as I can.

It's my pleasure honey. I wish I was well enough to come more often and stay longer, but as soon as I stretch that hip flexor to sit at the laptop, the sands start running through the hourglass, as it were. When it starts to really complain, I have to do my PT exercises and recline.

A most interesting title...  

The accompanying image gave me the impression of ascension,
and this is the energy I felt, infused into the piece.

I feel like we do have certain, implicit natures, perhaps.

In many cases, it is certainly best to practice artifice,
illusion, projection, these things...

or...  

it is sort of like a perpetual state of war...
(but I do view this war as a polarity that
may magnetize and amplify us).

I think that regardless of the approach,
within the authenticity ourselves,
we navigate the wild winds of fortune
as well as the energies of the world, at large,
which seek to sink your battle ship
and clip your wings...

For a variety of reasons, I think.

it is certainly easier to destroy than to create.

Nevertheless...

You captured the movement so wonderfully,
brilliantly incorporating various devices
to create the desired effect.

It occurs to me that the butterfly is the center of the universe.

wow...  that's far out...

as the butterfly travels far out...

This is a master stroke unto the enemies of the self.

There's always a bit of hidden poignancy within the madness. I like to title, period... No no I mean  
I LOVE to title my poems. Sometimes, it's better than writing them.... hahaha. I'm a little looney that way, I know. It's just one of those things! haha Anyway, this particular one is titled Antithesis because of the dichotomy between the beautiful butterfly finding glorious flight against the backdrop of cruelty and meanness...

Sometimes you can flourish despite that horrors that are inflicted...hence, the title...  

I agree that destruction is probably our innate nature and that it comes easier to most, unfortunately. Hopefully, being fully cognizant of that very ingrained nature can become the first building blocks, in avoiding that tendency.... A girl can dream... ✨  

I am overjoyed that you found beauty, here. it's meaningful to me that you think so and I wholeheartedly appreciate that and your killer deep thoughtfulness.
