The water

Water is amazing thing,
Brought her closest to peace,
Rather it roaring or silent as can be,
Cloud cover, sunshine, or moonlit,
Let me drift,swim,put feet in or just sit and gaze upon the water,
It brings calmness to my brain and soul,
Bit by bit strings of words unravel and unwind,
Emotions, thoughts so intertwine,
Ocean, rivers, waterfalls, channels, creeks, bayou, ponds, lakes and puddles,
Even rain falling fast from the sky,
Believe in when I say, can always let the water wash away,
Allow your mind to be silent,
Or let the roaring waters be as chaotic as your mind,
Always moving, changing,
So over powering,
and yet we want to hold it,
it will always run away,
Just admire and enjoy the beauty,
Must we then walk away,
Come again on another day
