The First People
Who came to this country before the first immigrants
Those already living in this land before it became for the free and brave
If it wasn't all divided as it is now
There was a time when it was truly united as one
People moving around freely in all of their natural home
No borders to restrict and prevent those coming in and going out
Food for everyone in the earth and on the trees
When money was no object whatsoever because it didn't exist
Weapons were for hunting not for war
No massacres to forcefully conquer and destroy the only primogenitors of their home
Unlike those foreigners who entrenched themselves through bloodshed
Now living as an endangered species running out of time
Feeling no safety in your own motherland
Where invaders are now the rulers maintaining oppression
Over disposable lives whose enormous costs they count with their unearned benefits
How can they say what they cannot see
