Window of Clouds
I'm on my way down
The earth unfolds
Towards my empty hole
Here I will rule
I'm no ones fool
I can chew it up
Grind it out
Tear it up or
Lay fire down
I feel a pull
An unfamiliar pain
Towards a glow
A bright, bright light
I can not see
This can not be
Different places
Smiles on faces
Able to be free
Not meant for me
I can no longer look
My strength it took
A voice sings
down from the
Window of clouds
He says
It's okay, It's alright
The life you led
You had no choice
No one was
there to teach
From the prison dome
Called your home
Please don't cry
For I am God
I am good
Forgiveness is love
You'll fly like a dove
To another life
A few hours from now
You'll get it right
Just follow the light
It could be beautiful
Wonderful and magical
I promise you
Next time around
Again, and again
And again
You can not fail
For I am God

Redemption is love

A few moments from now
And I'll be watching from

I've seen some really horrible people do kind things.
I've seen some really kind people do horrible things.
Both surprised me. I guess one side just outweighs the other.
Does god forgive using reincarnation or is that a form of punishment.
I guess it depends where you land.
Makes me wonder.

Wildly interesting concept. Forgiveness through reincarnation. Hmmm, while I like the idea of doing something in one body or the next until I get it right, I think I’d rather not. Hopefully, if I have been reincarnated before this is my last up at bat. I may have to take a pass on forgiveness and past transgressions. I don’t think I can do this again 😟. I don’t suppose He’d be willing to accept ten hail Mary’s and four Lord’s prayers and we call it the end? I’m so intrigued by the creative originality of this poem. I’ve never considered this process and find it very intriguing. Great piece. H🌷

Hahaha. Me either. No thanks. But I've had a great life. Not perfect but definitely not miserable. I just wonder about people who are born somewhere that is like hell. That would be their one experience here. Do they get a do over or is that it. Just makes me think.

It is, right. I just replied to Honoria about not having any control of your circumstances. People who have no shining light and get brainwashed from birth. Are they truly guilty or does god understand and give you a do over. Just a thought.

Your thoughts in the author's note add so much to this already amazing piece Adelphina. 'Does god forgive using reincarnation or is that a form of punishment' - such an interesting question; perhaps it is both. Those who do bad things are reincarnated to suffer and be challenged until they get it right (enough anyway) while those who do good are reincarnated into a better life. Or perhaps we just go into the ground or if you live a good life you go to heaven. I like what Honoria said a lot as well as your replies. There are so many interesting questions around religion. I really enjoyed this a lot. You are such an amazing writer beyond just your words; I love your depth, uniqueness, and variety.

Some people honestly need those guidelines. Me too on occasion but I just can't roll with condemning people to hell. I think another power makes that call. And it is a private conversation you have with god or whatever spiritual presence you believe in when your time comes.

Directed by the same guy who did the Haunting of Hill House.
The writing is absolutely amazing. The dialog that bounces off each character regarding religion is phenomenal. Kind of a tear jerker but that is how I aspire to write. Nothing too fancy but still eloquent.

I'm not a believer but that's neither here or there when I come to humans.
They are curious objects. I was raised as a reform jew. I always said I belonged in reform school.

Hahaha. I was raised with reform school friends so you are in good company amigo. I have even been to jail one time with my best friend.
