Rainy Rainbow Boulevards
walk with me darling
down the boulevard
water colors drip(ping)
paints the streets devine
hazy shade of rainbows
dances as you stir you coffee
splashes of color to grey lives
emeralds twinkle in your smiling eyes
as we stroll down the lane
hand in hand...like an old song
playing on the radio,
our touch is so familiar to the dream
as we amble together
getting lost in puddles of paint
splashes of color...against the streets
so plain

Ahhh a lovely, colorful little stroll.... painting such a pretty picture.... I really appreciate your rhyming capability, something that's mostly lost on me as a useful skill (I'm horrible at it!) .... hahaha... Great job!

Thank you really appreciate your comment...I normally do not write something like this, but I am expanding my knowledge of different subjects...I was a certain kind of poet on Allpoetry.com
On that site it happens you find yourself not just being a poet but a niche' poet...I needed to rediscover who I was as not only as a poet but as human being...I lost my passion for the written word...so all of my talents were being squandered...Told myself perhaps here I could have my own Renaissance...rediscover my love for the written word...Blessing BlueVelvete
