Where destiny collides
how the tired daily
mundane minutiae of life
trickles to dissolve
within heartfelt amity
Time itself, forgives
gray becomes
all the colors
of the rainbow
glistening
intense
highlights
riveting technicolor
Each moment
stirs of promise
the breadth of hope
e x p a n d s
upon every inhale
where fate breathes life
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fate; destiny
was(is) ours
in that momentary
second of creation
when stars are born
Our breath, heartbeats
s a i l
on cosmic winds
witnessing eons of time
where our tethered souls
finally pull together
Connection is inevitable
the love undeniable
as our
aches
yearnings
slowly subside
hearts blend—
to new colours.

Team work on a poem is difficult to say the least. Ideas can take a left turn quickly and the intent of the poem is lost, but you two pulled it off.

Your comments are so uplifting, Walter. Thanks for that truly kind words. I do give it the ol 'college try' when collaborating... that's for sure.... To collaborate with AP is a dream because he's so great at understanding that I really do suck at collaborations, .... Hahaha.... (I really do!) .. and he gives me the space and time to figure out what works for me.... no pressure or anything...... I am so grateful for that!...He's mostly responsible for this piece , imo. Pushing me to try something that isn't easy for me.
