Still Beautiful and Frozen Young
I stand alone, looking deep into the dark edge where bitter cold keeps all frozen young.
Only moments before, you walked into the morning light, warm and wet.
I drank from you until only dust remained.
I held your heat until only an icy shell remained.
Then, I walked you back to join the others, still beautiful and frozen young.
Only moments before, you walked into the morning light, warm and wet.
I drank from you until only dust remained.
I held your heat until only an icy shell remained.
Then, I walked you back to join the others, still beautiful and frozen young.
