Epilogue.......I Love You
My mind won't change
and my heart will never lie........
…....I Love You
my friend
so many times
I feel relegated
to that zone of obsolescence,
wondering of the ambiguity
of this word, "friend"
leaving me
crying inside
once again
as I wonder if
you can or you don't
if you will or you won't...
....caught in the “careless whispers”
of reflections
in words spoken
this melancholy “Deja Vu”
I can't loose......
the warm zephyrs
of hope
held hostage inside my head .....I heard you say:
….”I love you", "I am your friend”
never to
utter a word
of what we've shared
to anyone,
never to be repeated
to another soul
trusting your trust in me, trusting you-completely
for........
“your love is extravagant
your friendship, is intimate
I feel like moving to the rhythm of your grace
Your fragrance is intoxicating, in our secret place.......”
and
“there is no one in the world to hold you
No one in the world's gonna move you
No one in the world can love you like I do, baby
and every time I'm with someone
I'm loving you, yes, I want to run ...
I wanna run into your arms again
Ain't no one in the world
Loves you like I do”.......my proclamation
My mind won't change
and my heart will never lie........
…....I Love You
waiting for you to say it
to speak it into the atmosphere
to free us from
this awkward captivity of the heart
I pray
that you love me as I love you,
in the intimacy of innocence, you call me “friend”
…....hoping too that your heart won't
lie to "u" about "us"
