...  A wonderful establishment of place, perfect for the weaving of emotions, which materialize deeper, based upon this achievement.

...  "wallpapered unassuming".  (Such a cool phrasing, as well as a touch point of the poem, I felt.)

Dear BV,

My head went in many directions with this one. The pain of losing someone. The endless nights of no sleep. The obsessive thoughts. Finally getting to a point you start to live again only to turn around and be right back at square one.
The head and heart so rarely work in tandem. Your closing line is haunting. It’s been rolling around my mind since I read this in the morning. You note this might have been an abstract construct. Uuuuhhhhh, a true abstract construct would have included a partial grocery list, some reminders of things I should do after work, hair appointment…not this piece of thought provoking genius. Wonderfully written. H🌷
