Is He Really A Man?
Man!
He claims to be one
Yet he talks like a boy!
He has features of one
Yet he complains incessantly like a toddler!
Is he really a man
With his display of the flowers of folly?
A little setback
He moans endlessly!
A little disappointment
He curses uncontrollably!
A little difficulty
He gives up effortlessly!
A contrary opinion from another
He argues oppressively!
Hey you!
Ask yourself some salient questions:
Does being a man about your manly features
Of moustache, beard and others?
Are you a man because of your biological traits?
Perhaps, you are!
Being a man is more than
Having manly features;
It is manifesting the man in you
Of which you are yet to do!
You are a baby of a man!
A man in potential
Not one in reality.
You are a caricature
Of the specimen called man!
Find out what a true man
Should be in reality;
Find out what it entails
To be a real man;
Perhaps, then
You will know
That you are a toddler of a man
Still crawling with your manly knees
Yet to stand and walk
Graciously and honourably
In the midst of real men;
Know this:
Real men respect nature
And nature respects them.
