He found me tethered in withdrawls from sugar pill loves
& left me to drown in the sanctum of his eyes
Placid pools of silent green

...again Kandice, but I feel cheated. It's as if I am being spoon fed a morsel at a time when it's the banquet I crave. Pray, my dear when may we expect some longer verse from that delicious pen of yours?

Yes dear, I understand where you're coming from as I feel sometimes perhaps I cheat myself by posting too hastily. Although who am I to say no when a poem tells me its done? I'm sure you know that feeling. I suppose a challenge for myself is in order.. Thank you for your words.
