An unwanted marriage
The husband is the Taliban
The brides
Were all the women, and girls
Of Afghanistan
The 'husband' declared
That his wives
Would still be entitled
To all their rights
But everyone knew
Deep down inside
Once the 'honeymoon' period was over
And all the 'guests' were gone
The Taliban men, and man
Would commence their Taliban ban
Where all his 'wives'
Would soon have no rights
or freedoms
You can't always count on
