So Damn Pretty
You look so pretty in the way you tie your shoes
I'll kiss the bags beneath your eyes of tired green and blue.
And if you want to spend the night with me that would be okay too.
You smoke that roll, I'll sip this booze.
You look so pretty in the way you try to cry
But you don't feel a thing, I ask myself why every night.
But we both pretend there's tears and I tell you it's alright,
I'll buckle your seatbelt and take you on a drive.
You look so pretty. But not as much when you're mad
Red is your color, even if it's a flag.
Because you pull off anything, huffing paint from a can
I just want you to feel love, I know you can..
You look so pretty in the way you tie your shoes
I can feel this is the last time I'll ever see you
Your eyes are lifeless, like you've got nothing to lose
I thought we were everything but you become the things you do.

You look so pretty. But not as much when you're mad
