Lonely Endeavours

Nature chokes down progress in silence,
sputtering phantom oaths
left frothing
where plastisized lips eject silicone drool,
her tattered tongue tasting
fomented fumes
circling the corpse of a failed endeavor.

Her somber hands
sodder circuit board bruises
lividly leaking, seething and seeping
where misguided intentions
bore the smog of dire consequence,
yet, subconsciously, she'd always known
those beautiful children
would consume their own mother.....
