Not really my state of mind just adding to the feel of the poem and it's mention of broken pieces.... I couldn't really find a picture that I liked to add to this particular write and then I had this idea to create one out of my own.... I like that it's broken up and morphed a little, punctuating the moment pretty well.... 🤷🏻‍♀️ 👍🏻

The longer I live alone, the more colorful life becomes.
Monochrome evolved into Kodachrome as loneliness grew into solitude.

Ohh, KP.... I wish that I could reconcile loneliness and solitude as perfectly you've been able to describe in your comments here. I still find living alone as lonesome but I believe that I have gotten used to that lonesomeness not out of a wanted desire but out of force, due to the pandemic.. etc...

Yet, I can absolutely see the beauty in the multitude of colors you described, too .... as it sounds like a truly lovely space to be living in.

I thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with me, it makes me feel less alone and more hopeful, if that makes sense!?!?

WOW! A self-portrait of yourself in monochrome. The concept is genius. And the way you play it out is brilliant. The metaphors unroll into a tapestry of your soul. And I follow stunned and in awe of what you do with this idea. This is real literary art that takes me into the heart of what it means to have insight that grasps the sparks of the spirit and rolls them into a monochromatic symbolism that makes me think and feel.

I couldn't help but notice the way you structured this poem to reflect the image. I guess sometimes in the abstract of things, we can really break down parts of us and analyze them with detail for a better understanding.

Wonderful job.

I actually couldn't find a pic that was liked to go along with the poem and decided to break my own after writing... So I am definitely glad that it came across to be so fully ingrained... I appreciate your thoughtful comments so much, my friend.
