My Go To Shower Song.
I usually talk to you in the shower.
The water beats down on me as I
pound out the dust collecting in
the fibers of my heart.
You meet me where ever I am,
and I love you for that.
You love me no matter who I am,
and I praise you for that.
You teach me no matter how old I get,
and I am in awe of you for that.
Or at least I used to be.
I have lost my map, compass,
your hand written directions and
I want to return home. I think I
remember the way, but I need a shower
first. But you call me and say "NO, come
straight here! I will bathe you in my tears
for you remembered where you heart belongs; with me."
The water beats down on me as I
pound out the dust collecting in
the fibers of my heart.
You meet me where ever I am,
and I love you for that.
You love me no matter who I am,
and I praise you for that.
You teach me no matter how old I get,
and I am in awe of you for that.
Or at least I used to be.
I have lost my map, compass,
your hand written directions and
I want to return home. I think I
remember the way, but I need a shower
first. But you call me and say "NO, come
straight here! I will bathe you in my tears
for you remembered where you heart belongs; with me."
