nihilism

dancing
your legs will only
be broken by
life
don't bother wanting
because you can't
have it anyway
dont bother
listening
the din of confusion
will only shatter
your eardrums
like an unfulfilled
dream
don't bother
caring
that will only become
the pioson of
apathy

and if you get to
that place where
you don't bother
enough...
then nothing will
ever bother
you
and your life will
become the perfect
storm of
quiet

This really speaks truth.
People want to be cared for but they don´t care for others.
It is really a selfish world where interest in love and care is long gone.
Almost none-existing.
I really like this part:

To me, it's about being willing to just try.... not ever letting that numbness to fully saturate and seal in 'the quiet'.... I really got a great kick (chuckle) out of the smartly sarcastic repetitive lines of 'don't bother'.... Your creative mind is always a joy to behold, bk!!!

Thank you, Blue. I'm not sure if it was sarcasm or 62 yrs of life experiences speaking to be honest. One can get to be in a place where enough is enough and can see where such narratives has lead one in life.
