Distilled Souls
Does not creation rejoice as our flesh becomes one? Should we not accept the pleasures of this tentative existence absent of shame?
The Great Spirits of Earth distill our souls into fragrant oils for touching. Let us celebrate the animal desires so often misplaced in favor of human decency. As evening falls, run naked with me toward the orange sun, wishing for one more hour of life.
In our few remaining days, we’ll not be judged by what we did but the things we left undone. And so my temporal love, let us leave nothing undone.
