Light Chaser
With an activist's pen, I sit down and begin to write
About all of the rights and wrongs within my sight
From the brightest of lights to the darkest of pits
I've seen beautiful rainbows as well as bullshit
It's all relevant to the development of who I've become
Persevered through it all instead of succumb
I'm far from dumb so I run towards the light
And philosophical minds that like to enlight
