Brutal Phantom Pain, Exquisite Dreams and A Once Upon a Time

This is such a poignant poem.
The image of those tiny, well, splits or splinters in the veil of waking moments, where come glinting through the fragments of some original...fall, or break.
A splinter of sensation shooting right through the dead nerves, or the phantom nerves.
Bringing someone to his knees, indeed.

Oh the IF ONLY in life how many times has happiness been ho the right when you turn left.  I wonder how many chances have slid by me without me even knowing a new beginning was that close. Great write beautiful

What happens to a dream deferred?.......

Your devotion to entering into the triggering mechanism is absolute.  Your usage of punctuation and enjambment really just solidify the capturing of the experience, as you rotate it like a prism and reveal such intricate nuances.  I like the way you bring a primal energy into the piece, by transfiguring the "like attracts like" aphorism, which is typically used as a tool to manifest whatever it is that people want, and you make it into a dream catcher of nightmares, but I feel that this is somehow of greater value than "whatever it is that people want", because it is the wisdom of truth, and to me, therein lies an important aspect of the deep substance of your perspective...

Oh yeah...  You spill blood...  And I marvel.

It's stellar and so extremely helpful to me. It allows confidence building, reinforcement of my path in construction /formatting and the sheer motivation that kindness like yours, instills.  

To me... my meanings aren't always solid and pinpoint... I'm not uber creative, clever or smart.. lol... in the crafting of my writing... So this, well, It's kinda the understanding (or dawning of) a hard truth and knowing or coming to grips with an end of something deeply painful...

Or maybe it just flowed that way...I can never be 100% certain of a #Nopoo impetus....

Not everything needs to be pulled apart and decoded ... I like how many things feel after I've read them but I can never quite word it properly, so I will usually just say, "I hear you" because I am not that proficient in properly conveying my own thoughts... lol... I get it!!

God your talent knows no limits, my friend. This is a different direction from what I've read of you tonight. But you can take me on new journeys with each write. I felt this especially deeply because it reminded me of my feelings for my late wife. Our future was cut short. I miss her every day but especially at night. The future that never was born. You take this trek into the ache of ghost pain from soul growth nipped at the bud. There is a truth here that runs deeper than regret. You take me into the heart of what it means to lose a spiritual limb in the course of its growth. And you say it with the poet's language that you make all your own. This is original, powerful, and heartrending. Grandly composed like a classical poem but told in your own words. Passion is made into poetry that writhes withs with a loss greater than plans gone awry.
