By The Dark Of The Day
By the dark of the day and light of the night..
Yes, that’s it… Everyone has life horribly wrong…
My minds light and vision increase when dark sets in..
Light of day no more exists… For in this light,
that has now become dark, I feel the strife, the
torment I see on everyone’s face.…
This more than saddens me…
We are meant to love and help one another, not
to be vultures picking each other clean of that
which we are, leaving rotting carcasses behind…
Where is the sanctity of love among us?
It’s become so unclear…
By the dark of the day, I must close my eyes
as not to witness mass murder among us…
By the light of the night I shall dwell, as
not to witness what the dark of the day has to reveal..
