Treasures of Heaven
The center drawer of my desk opens to reveal
A book with such beauty to conceal/reveal
From prismatic poetic
and spiral eyes
To eyes that become spirals inside of prisms
As my vision is clarified and cleansed
With each interaction
Impressed upon every aspect
of my perception
I wondered if such beauty still exists
Emerging from unknown locations
Secretly sage
Impressing like the circulation of nature
in a natural circulatory system
Emerging from the vapor
and the ether
As a winged creature
Lands upon the screen of my computer
This universe is magic
And nothing besides
(I am reading LilDragonFly’s book: Within and Without, and am very much enjoying it. There are so many facets, from the structures, to the arrangement, to the deep and powerful wisdom & insights into the human condition individually & collectively, to the Title of the work, which comes to life in both tangible and spiritual ways, a paradox, from the title to the different aspects of the content and layout. This book is truly an addition to the foundations of humanity, and of the greatest inspiration to the poet/ess. And a winged creature did land on my computer screen as I wrote this, a product of my nocturnal encounter from yesterday. This is something I recognize the importance of, in a more evolved way, allowing myself to be free enough or bold enough to take the writing even further and deeper, exploring different regions of authenticity and maybe self disclosure, which I have done in the past but not as much in the present. Also, it is just magical to me the way things circulate, which is symbolized both by me even coming into contact with this book, and this book’s mannerisms and idiosyncrasies. Flows like and with the elements, as both a form of being and a reflection of being on being. Within and Without.
An oracle discussed the treasures of heaven.
And this book is that)
