Poetry Is An Entity

What words would I use if asked to describe poetry?
To me, poetry's a living, breathing & moving entity
She's beauty personified within lines of rhymes
And if loving her is wrong, I'm guilty of crimes

I'll do the time willingly & proudly in the name of she
My GOD! She's a rare breed and unique pedigree
She entices me to grab my quill pen then dip the tip
As lines run through my mind, I grind, letting 'em rip

We take spontaneous trips to destinations unknown
She's so damn amazing & inspiring that my head's blown
Grown and sexy and she's with me through thick & thin
By my side, as my ride or die, so there's no way we can't win

My friend 'til the end and I'm admiring her curves
Whatever I'm desiring, she always seems to serve
As I observe this crazy world with her and my muse
I write about what's in sight with insight that we produce

So, if I'm asked to produce a description of my love
I'd reproduce the produce that you have consumed above
No glove, no love but a plug gives it raw & uncut
Like triple X sex but my projects are far from smut
