World is full of tiny dogs
He's the big butch hulk
with stunted stride
try's to smile, but inwards sulk
resented, show a sense of pride
And so we see the smallest breeds
restrained upon the longest leash
and trot on clockwork legs, as they proceed
a fashion statement ? the foolish picture so complete

And yet some of the smallest dogs will tear you up! Particularly your ankles. . . chihuahuas are the worst! And the ones with poodles or fashion statements as you called them, Well, we'll never be royals, will we?!
