So Last Season
I'm getting it back
lifting weights
watching what I eat
because last year has been depressing
feeling like I got kicked around
but finally I can get out the house
no more excuses
looking in the mirror
smiling with confidence
time to reinvent my creativity
done with the same ol' repetition
doom and gloom is so last season
this year's the season of love
kisses and hugs
filling the heart to the tippidy top

Great job! I try to keep up with my workouts. Was kinda slacking but I'm getting back into it. Putting the work in can really pay off when it comes to self happiness.

I'm much older than you and I made up my mind to do this, feeling a lot of self empowerment , sex drive was always good, now better

I just renewed my Planet Fitness membership... and I can hardly wait to go in the mornings again. It's more impactful and motivating to go to the gym than to try to work out at home, for me, anyway... I missed it very much.... as did my waistline.... I too, am getting back on the healthiest track I can. It really does make a difference, especially going into your 40's...

I always preferred to workout at my home. Though I think it's because I like to setup my speakers and play my music. I also write a lot of my poetry in between. And yeah, I stop all the time write down some lines and so on lol. Got to keep being strong 💪

Oh definitely last season! :) A great message DC. Last year was depressing - Covid was not even worst of it for me. But it is so nice to see some things getting back to a semblance of normal. Feeling more confident going out having had the vaccine. I stayed focused on fitness but definitely missed going to the gym. It feels so good!!!
