new day dawning
octoroon night,
astonished skies
buried in deep-
veiled assonance:
what now thy plight,
as shadows rise
above thy steep-
inked arrogance!
shimmering light
to ostracise
the ills that sleep
in dissonance,
launch now thy flight,
lest swift demise
upon me creep
sans elegance.
bloom big and bright,
without disguise;
from cradle leap
o’er circumstance.
fear extradite,
sin paralyse;
on mountains steep
thy renaissance.
