I remember you were a poet
who braught creativity
taking minds to new heights
nothing seemed off limits
alien wars
pagan whores
magical dragons that fuck
no one but you dared touch those waters
not just a good poet
you were the best poet
a straight up
hold no fucking bars poet
now you have secluded yourself
claiming insanity
I tried to help
but you pushed and pushed away
we all change
I've changed
so I'm not angry with the disconnect
what offends me most
is what you did to your scribes
immersing yourself in such nonsense
then deleting any bit of artisty
we all make choices
and that choice is yours to make
I just wish
to never be so broken
it makes me sad

Thank you very much. I'm glad you liked my poem. It was mainly about one poet I used to look up to. But really there were many that fell off in one way or another.

I feel this one deeply, indeed. There's a similarity in your words that I understand DC. I'm sorry for your 'loss' of that poet and for the others that have faded away. It's always sad to see that happen. A heartfelt and poignant piece here, indeed.
