Laughed At By Time
I can’t lay on the bed for too long
As everything quickly passes me by
Before I know it I’m another year hold
And the goals I wrote left without a goodbye
I can’t linger too much on past failures
Or even the current ones, it brings me down
Regardless of the situation or circumstances
But if I put in the effort, success will come around
I must plan my work and work my plan
Things eventually will fall right into place
It’s never perfect so I need to be flexible
Otherwise, I may end up with mud in my face
Now as it passes me by and I feel old
Wasting it has been my biggest crime
But I appreciate it like it’s gold
Or else I’ll be laughed at by time
