This Sacred Sin

Their bodies tangled beneath the stars
of a Blue Ridge Mountain sky.
Specks of existence in time and space,
a few breaths and then they die.
One piercing star is a universe,
but still hears their loving cry.

Her eyes meet his with a sparkling light,
as he touches her fevered skin.
Two tangling souls on a small blue pearl
are one as their lust begins.
Pure in their passion and given to life
They celebrate this sacred sin.
