I love Queen... I thought of this song too... (outta my head Claude!!.. lol) when I first read bk's poem. You're right, even with the smallest things, jealousy can bloom. To me, it's a reminder that green eyed continual flaunting; rings of desperation. That actions and words do have consequences. There's always going to be those who try and spin a situation or others via manipulation. Then try to to backtrack to CYA themselves. No one is infallible, as we all have dark capabilities. I certainly understand that. I am so grateful that I have the life experience and wherewithal to recognize that vs the sharks, vultures and hyenas that bk wrote about and who I've experienced in my own life's dealings....  
all that boiled down to a senryú... hahaha 😂

Fantastic!  I have a possessive love type jealousy for sure.  And a light hearted envy -- different,  I know (for seeing others where I would like to be career or artistic wise) but it's not a back biting nasty envy, like "I deserve what you have" or I don't want the other person to have what they have.  I have way too much respect for hard work and a hard work ethic for that.  Also, old fashioned, hard working Irish folks who worked their ass off for every dime.  Sorry, I'm rambling.  I love this poem.  I love the style of short poetry that you have to work hard to distill to the most essential emotive words.  It's such a fantastic exercise.
