Single & No Mingle

It’s not you it’s me,
Forgive me,
I’ve had enough,
And I’m clinging to my sanity...
Move along,
Don’t even bother me,
Don’t take offense, it’s not you,
It’s me.
I’m tired of this dating thing,
So I withdraw,
Looking for a new scene,
A one woman cast
Starring me:
A different genre of reality.
One where I come first,
One where no man is bringing out my worst,
One where I’m not playing games on a team I didn’t sign up for...
I simply desire more.
A life where Self feeds me,
One of solitude and growth,
A life of peace & serenity
All created on my own.
A life free of lies,
A life free of deception,
A life where there’s just ME,
Where I’m not running in a competition.
Where I can meet myself halfway,
Trust in myself and my intuition,
So that I can be all I desire to be:
And only this solitude will put me in position.
In position better see my own worth,
Without distractions,
Without bypassing by own healing &
Winding up hurt...
Now, I look ahead,
Dedicated to this life’s work.
So it’s not you, it’s me,
I’m working through some things,
This work requires peace,
And leaves only room for me.
