Into the Light

I've always had doubts about "going towards the light" no holy book mentions any light, just Hollywood does.
Maybe they do and im just talking out my ass.  Lucifer, the morning star or light bringer. I'm not religious but my mind has decided that the light, is the hell fire burning bright. Or not. Lol
Love the brevity of your piece. Its a haiku so of course its gonna be short. Lol now im just rambling...

I once read an article (or saw a documentary, can't remember) with doctors saying that many patients who had died for a few minutes all described seeing a light. What the doctors (and many of course being people of science) deducted that there is a part of the brain that accesses memory and that most of these patients experienced similar patterns. It's also been said that the brain works in a different time construct, reaching memories of places and people that normally we couldn't "life flashing before our very eyes" type of deal.

Yes, Hollywood does that alot, but we like to romanticize the crossing of this bridge to see those who went before us and that the collective conscience has created a place where all those we loved and knew would gather once again.
