Water is the necessity of life.  Keep on writing.

This poem took me to a few different places in my mind. At first the mention of the cave walls actually took me towards Plato's cave allegory, and it made me think about that allegory and how it is used as this image of things not being entirely as they seem. The whispers thank you line accompanied by this image of a parched desert i found to be a very bleak image to begin with, but the gratitude moves it towards hope. As a collection of imagery in just three lines, I thought this piece made great use of brevity as a tool.
