That's dangerous  
Recede  
Back to the violence we made famous  
She's the artist  
In the midnight blackness  
I stole her color once  
That was a mistake  
I pay now  
She keeps the need honest  

If I taste bitter  
That's sweet  
Escalate  
Pushing past all the boundaries  
He's the canvas  
Painting him in the dark  
I gave him my color  
It corrupts giving me power  
I paint now
