IT'S A GREAT DAY!
This morning I once
again realize that
yesterday is gone
forever, tomorrow
is not a reality.
TODAY
is all I have,
a few hours on
the clock of life,
with each tick
carrying it away.
I have a
CHOICE
and therefore
choose
to count my positives
and flush my negatives.
Yes, this is a great day,
a day I've never had before,
I see the bright sunshine,
feel the crisp fresh air,
hear the singing of the
birds, the honking
of distant horns,
enjoying the taste of
freshly brewed coffee;
acknowledging that it
has been proven that
90% of the things i
could worry about will
never happen, 5% I can
do something about and
the other 5% won't rob
me of the joy of this
NOW
moment which I have
labeled a
GREAT DAY.

It was a great day, overall, sorta kinda. Better than a lot of other folks had for sure. I like that you have spoken on this to gently remind us for all the humble gratitudes bestowed throughout a day. Lovely lovely write. H🌷
